Of the million reasons for our much expected failure ,the one that takes the cake is ...."We lost because of Indira Gandhi and hold your breath..Hanuman " ...Indira Gandhi because of the Bangladesh partition and Hanuman for the trashing that he had given the lankans long ago.

The two nations had not forgotten this and were waiting for the appropriate time to strike with full and total vengeance...

Jokes apart ,I sincerely think that the maddess that's surrounds this game should stop.I for one hold a personal grudge against the game, because of this stupid game every other sport in this country is grossly ignored...Hockey being our national game is in the pits,there has been no conscious effort in this country to save the game ,can you believe that there are not more than 5 astroturf's in india to play hockey !Players still practise either on grass or some tarmac .I think hockey is currently the fastest game besides ice hockey ,of course .Its definitely more thrilling than cricket but due the fuckol exposure that the game gets ..its where it is today.
I knew Zafar Iqbal who once was the captain of the indian team and he along with Mohammed Shaihd could tear apart the best defence in the world....and take a wild guess how much they used to be paid for every domestic tournament Rs.135/- and meals !! Stay would always be in some school dormitory and this is 1989-1990 that I am talking about.
Badminton ,we had Padukone Prakash the All England and World champion...ask anyone who this guys is and chances are they will tell you Deepika padukone ka baap hai !

I read another article which said a Rocky 3 type approach should be there to instill hunger back into the Indian team...it spoke of how Rockey started off and when the comforts of the good life came in he lost the fire , similarly the Indian team needs to go back to the time when they had the fire in their belly and were trying to secure a place in the team.
Today the "COMFORTS" have seeped in .Boys who would carry their kit on their bicycles have 4 wheel drives to take them around , few of them actually want to go back the very grounds that tarined and nourished them ,instead they wait for the next training camp that happens ...and instead of some good desi massages they opt for delicate darlings at some fancy spa .These jokers are more bothered about the next days commercial shoot than the game itself in the sense that they have to ensure that they have no injuries ,no sun tan(for gods sake! ) etc etc

Show me one professional in our team who can be retained for future 'use' ,who should be allowed to play cricket...None I tell you .For the money that these guys make out of cricket they cannot afford to not perform...the money they earn makes the professional...professional who cannot make mistakes ...professional who have to deliver one time ,every time...

Like the ad says Eat ,drink and sleep cricket ,only difference is that while the public in general eat and drink while cricket is on ,the circketers actually sleep !

Wont you agree that laying Ganguly off for a year and half has done wonders to his game..I mean look at the man ,he is on fire !...I think its time we packed off the Dhoni's and tendulkars to vanvaas..maybe it would do them some good.

Also ,for heaven's lets not blame the coach entirely for the way these jokers perform on the Field.
